Tropical Salvage claims majority of our wood from lahar debris- a natural occurring mudflow phenomenon caused by the Merapi volcano's (pictured right) pyroclastic flows. We source sustainability harvested bamboo, teak, coconut and aren wood from the foothills of Indonesia's active and dormant volcanos to craft a variety of products for your home.
